  • Option II (Local Repair Reimbursement): If a defective unit can be serviced locally by the client, Qdaten will credit or reimburse the verified repair costs, optimizing turnaround time.
  • Option III (HK Return Service): If the local repair estimate exceeds the economic threshold, buyers can route the defective units back to our Hong Kong office for cross-border replacement or credit.

Selection

We have done thorough research on the sources of used phones. As we know, most second-hand phones in the market are of poor quality even though appearance of them looks like new sometimes. For newcomers, it might result in your financial loss and wasted time. Worse still, some people may be scammed by sellers. At Qdaten, we take sourcing seriously, our team excels at selecting high-quality second-hand phones. We strictly reject repaired phones, especially those with motherboard repaired.

Refurbishment Standards

Some customers are cautious about refurbished phones because most of suppliers use inferior components to refurbish used phones so that they can gain more profit. This approach can ruin a company`s reputation and undermine long-term business. Which is unable to help the business consistently. Qdaten realized this issue years ago and committed to using original components to replace the defective parts even if we will lose some money. This commitment explains why Qdaten’ prices may be slightly higher than some competitors’, but our quality is significantly more reliable.

Logistics and Shipping

All the phones from Qdaten are original with brand name, however, we don’t have official trademark authorization. Therefore, we can only use the shipment with DDP service (Delivered Duty Paid). Direct shipments via DHL/UPS/FEDEX are unavailable due to customs restrictions—Unless the buyers handle customs clearance independently.
To ensure customers receive their packages successfully, we work with a professional forwarding company which will provide transportation specially. Our shipping process includes two phases:
Ⅰ. Initial Shipment: From our warehouse to the destination country’s customs. During this phase, tracking information is available through our internal system. Our associated customs broker is responsible for customs clearance.
Ⅱ. Final Delivery: Once cleared, the shipment handed over to your local courier and your local courier provide door-to-door delivery. During this phase, a tracking number will be available online and you can track the packages. About the local delivery courier, we might work with DHL, UPS or post office system. We use express DHL/UPS/FEDEX for shipment if there is no DDP service to the target country.

Warranty

Usually, we provide a 6-month of warranty to our refurbished phones. We will not offer free after-sales service with man-made issues such as screen broken or physical damage. The buyer had better make inspection to each single phone while you sign the package. Please deliver us photos or videos about defects in time if there are any issues. Since this is a cross-border transaction, we aim to Save time and cost for seller and buyer by providing multiple after-sales solutions:

Ⅰ. We send spare parts with the buyer’s next order for your local repair service;

Ⅱ. If the buyer would like to fix it at their local place, my company will share or pay the charges;

Ⅲ. Return the defective phone for repair or fixing service; Please contact our sales for our Hong Kong address details. The buyer needs to send us tracking info once they arranged the delivery. Once repaired by technicians, our service team will return the device promptly.
